Holmes Marshall (1813 - 1884) was the only child of Dr.
John Ellis Marshall and Ruth Holmes. He was a lawyer, historian
and an active citizen during the early years of the city
of Buffalo, New York. A biographical
sketch of him is found in the "History of the City

not for his efforts in saving family letters and photographs,
much of this website would not be possible. |
